The name of this blog site is dedicated to the memory of my beloved father. He planted (among many) a papaya tree at our backyard in the Philippines. At a very young age, I remember him eating a fruit from this tree one morning. I sat next to him at the dinner table and I just gleefully watched how he savored the taste and the flavor of the fruit from each bite. I've always loved papaya since then and I'm fondly reminded of him every time I eat this fruit.
